PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of being easily applied from the early phase of plant growth without damaging stems, and for preventing farm products from vermin such as an armyworm without damaging growth, which vermin moves from the ground along the stem and eats leaves away.SOLUTION: The device is formed of an elastic soft material, has a structure formed with a cut (3) directing from the periphery to the center, having length overcoming the center and not reaching at the opposite side edge, can be easily attached from the early phase of plant growth without injuring stems by inserting to the center part a farm product stem near the ground surface from the cut (3) to be near the center part, and closing the beginning of the cut (3), and prevents farm product damages caused by a vermin such as the armyworm from the ground, without damaging stem growth. And a structure having a center part (1) formed of an elastic soft material and a peripheral part (2) formed of a foldable, lowly retractile and hard material decreases distortion of the elastic soft material, caused by stem growth of farm products.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】 農作物の成長初期から茎を痛めることなく容易に装着でき、かつ成長を妨げることなく土中から作物の茎を伝って葉を食い荒らすヨトウムシなどの害虫から農作物を守る用具の提供を課題とした。【解決手段】 弾力性のある柔らかい素材で形成し、外側縁より中心に向かい中心を越える長さでありかつ反対側の縁まで達しない長さの切れ目(3)の入った構造とし、地上面近くの作物の茎を切れ目(3)より本発明の中心部に向かって中心付近まで挿入した後、切れ目(3)の始まりを閉じることにより、農作物の成長初期から茎を痛めることなく容易に装着でき、茎の成長を妨げることなくヨトウムシなどの土中からの害虫が作物に被害を及ぼすのを防護した。また、中心部(1)は弾力性のある柔らかい素材で形成し、辺縁部(2)は折り曲げができて伸縮性が低く硬い素材で形成した構造により、農作物の茎の成長によって生じる弾力性のある柔らかい素材の歪みを軽減できた。【選択図】図1
