PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of suppressing the generation of uneven roast in a roasted roast object.SOLUTION: This direct roasting machine 1 is composed so that a roast object is put into a rotary drum 3 composed to have a mesh-like peripheral surface and the inside of the rotary drum 3 is heated with a burner 2 from outside of the rotary drum 3 while rotating the rotary drum 3 whereby the roast object in the rotary drum 3 is roasted with heat of the burner 2.
