A system for managing the supply of breast milk is disclosed. In one form, the system includes a coded container for receiving the breast milk. The computing device receives an image of the breast milk in the coded container. Encoding allows the software to recognize the size and type of the container as well as the scale and orientation to convert the image to the correct capacity. The breast milk data is then processed and analyzed to generate feedback on the flow session, such as a log, chart, or reminder.
