A composition containing a contrast agent Yoforminol and additionally containing a second compound that acts as an inhibitor of the primary formation of crystallization or crystal growth centers, wherein said inhibitor contains a nonionic iodinated dimeric compound. The composition of claim 1, wherein the inhibitor is present in the composition in an amount of from 0.1 mass. % to 15 mass. % .3.
