An absorbent article includes an absorbent core (4) and a surface sheet (2) disposed on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core (4) and having an uneven structure on the skin-facing surface. The absorbent core 4 has one or a plurality of low basis weight portions 41 extending in one direction and having a relatively lower basis weight than other portions of the absorbent core 4. In a plan view, the topsheet 2 has a plurality of types of convex portions 24 having different sizes in a region overlapping the low basis weight portion 41.
