PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve diagnostic accuracy while preventing an operator from feeling a sense of incompatibility by providing an endoscope apparatus capable of continuously changing into an observation image suitable for endoscope diagnosis with an observation magnification, with a change of the observation magnification by a zoom magnifying operation.SOLUTION: An endoscope apparatus 100 comprises: illumination means for illuminating an analyte while including a plurality of light sources 47 and 49 which generate light of spectrums different from each other imaging means 21 for imaging the analyte and observation magnification change means 81 for changing an observation magnification of the analyte imaged by the imaging means 21. The endoscope apparatus further comprises light quantity ratio change means for changing an emission light quantity ratio of the plurality of light sources 47 and 49 in accordance with the observation magnification set by the observation magnification change means.
