PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for preventing food from falling apart while cooking which is generally and broadly usable for food material without affecting the flavor of the food material in production of food and drink having a process for stewing the food material and has satisfactory effect on prevention of falling apart while cooking and to provide a method for preventing food from falling apart while cooking including use of the agent for preventing food from falling apart while cooking.
SOLUTION: The agent for preventing food from falling apart while cooking includes whey minerals as active ingredients. The method for preventing food from falling part while cooking includes stewing food material in the presence of the agent for preventing food from falling apart while cooking which contains whey minerals as active ingredients, in the production of food and drink having a process for stewing the food material.
