PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of achieving improvement of detergency.SOLUTION: A washing machine 1 includes: a washing tub 2 in which an accommodation space 2A for accommodating a washing object Q is formed inside and in which water can be stored a water flow generation member 8 for generating a water flow from the water stored in the washing tub 2 an opposing part 5 opposing to the accommodation space 2A from a lower side Z2 and a floating prevention member 9. At the opposing part 5, a discharge port 5A for discharging the water flow which the water flow generation member 8 has generated upward to the accommodation space 2A is formed so as to face the accommodation space 2A from the lower side Z2.
