PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stuffiness prevention in a tape type disposable diaper having a waist sheet.SOLUTION: A tape type disposable diaper includes: a waist sheet 70 having stretch members 72, 72... stretching in a plurality of width directions at an interval in the front/back direction, between air-permeable nonwoven fabrics 71 and 71, from an absorber 56 of a back side to a reverse surface side an air permeable back sheet 12 forming the outermost surface of a product on the reverse surface side of the waist sheet 70 and solid gathers 60 and 60 rising to a wearer side on both sides of the product. The waist sheet 70 extends to the width direction outside between the back sheet 12 and an air permeable gather sheet 62 for forming the solid gathers. A fitting part 13C of a fastening tape 13 is fastened to between the back sheet 12, and the air permeable gather sheet 62 for forming the solid gathers. At least the one surface side nonwoven fabric 71 of the waist sheet 70 has many vent holes 74 for stuffiness prevention, making an opening shape visible from at least one side of the front and reverse of the diaper, at least on a lateral side from the side edge of the absorber 56.
