PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper hardly causing a fall in rigidity and reversion while having a pocket.
SOLUTION: The disposable diaper has an absorber 56 having the pocket 56P recessed to the rear face side from the front face, and a liquid permeable top sheet 30 disposed to cover the surface side of the absorber 56. In the absorber 56, a portion for forming the pocket 56P is recessed by the mutual approach of both side parts of the portion for forming the pocket 56P, and deformed into the pocket. The top sheet 30 is stretched over both sides of the portion for forming the pocket 56P and indirectly fixed to the absorber 56 on both sides of the portion for forming the pocket 56P while being not fixed at the portion for forming the pocket 56P.
