PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-diameter artificial muscle thread made of small-diameter Mckibben artificial muscle having improved durability particularly against flexure.SOLUTION: A small-diameter artificial muscle thread 1 made of small-diameter Mckibben artificial muscle comprises an elastic tube 10 and a braided tube 20. The elastic tube 10 is made of ethylene propylene diene rubber with a hollow cylindrical shape.
