PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top sheet capable of preventing leak of a liquid by preventing the liquid from reaching end portions.SOLUTION: The top sheet for absorbent articles includes a plurality of recessed joining points 40 that are formed by partially fusing a plurality of superposed sheet members by embossment. The top sheet includes fused areas 41 in which the joining points 40 are formed at least parts of a prescribed direction, and unfused areas 42 in which the joining points 40 are not formed in the prescribed direction between the fused areas 41.
