PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article reducing discomfort when wearing it.SOLUTION: The absorbent article has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction orthogonally crossing with one another. The absorbent article includes, in the thickness direction: a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-permeable second sheet, an absorber, and a liquid-impermeable back sheet that are sequentially superposed and a pair of compressed parts formed at both sides in the width direction by compressing the top sheet, second sheet, and absorber from the top sheet side in the thickness direction. The second sheet includes a pair of two-layered parts formed by folding back both ends in the width direction. The two-layered parts include adhesion areas in which upper layers and lower layers are bonded, and non-adhesion areas located at positions outside the adhesion areas in the width direction, in which the upper layers and the lower layers are not bonded.
