PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a forming method, allowing any person in ordinary houses to easily and surely mold a handmade-like rice ball sandwich.SOLUTION: The rice ball molding device is composed of a combination of a lower mold member 1 including recessed openings 4 which are arranged with a proper space and have an optional shape provided with a circumferential wall extended downward, each of the recessed openings including a double embossed portion 6 formed on the inner circumferential surface of the circumferential wall 5 and an upper mold member 7 including projections 10 which are arranged with a proper space and have the same shape as the recessed openings of the lower mold member, each of the projections including a stepped portion formed on a circumferential wall extended downward, and a double embossed portion formed on the outer circumferential surface. The rice ball molding method includes: placing the lower mold member on a seaweed sheet a or the like of a predetermined size packing rice b in both the recessed openings of the lower mold member placing the upper mold member on the rice in both the recessed openings of the lower mold member followed by pressing to form recessed stepped portions on the rice by the stepped circumferential walls 11 of the projections taking up the upper mold member to place a filling c in the recessed stepped portion of one rice and superposing the other rice on the one rice as it is enclosed by the seaweed sheet or the like.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】一般家庭において何人でも簡単かつ確実に手作り様のおにぎりサンドイッチを成形することができる器具及び成形法を提供する。【解決手段】適当間隔をおいて下方向に周壁部を設けた任意形状に成る凹口部4の周壁部5の内周面にダブルエンボス部6を形成した下型材1と、適当間隔をおいて下方向に前記下型材の凹口部と同形状に成る凸形部10の周壁部に段差を形成しかつ外周面にダブルエンボス部を形成した上型材7との組合わせから成るおにぎり成形器。また、所定大きさの海苔a等の上に前記下型材を載置し、下型材の両凹口部に米飯bを盛り付けた後、前記上型材を両凸形部を前記下型材の両凹口部の米飯上に載置して押し、凸形部の段差のある周壁部11により凹段面部を米飯上に形成した後、上型材を取り上げ、一方の米飯の凹段面部上に具類cを載せ、しかる後に他方の米飯を海苔等に包んだまま一方の米飯上に重ね合わせて成るおにぎり成形法。【選択図】図7
