PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion assist device which contributes to provision of various movements to a user.SOLUTION: A motion assist device 1 comprises a pelvis support part 13, a translational motion part 20, and a rotary motion part 30. The pelvis support part 13 has a seat surface 13A. The translational motion part 20 is connected with the pelvis support part 13 and has a structure of varying a seat surface position being the position in the height direction of the seat surface 13A.
