PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid cosmetic of which a center body is not exposed, and which, as being used, reveals to the user that the cosmetic comprises the center body in addition to the outer layer body, thus giving the user unexpectedness, and also to provide a method of easily producing such a solid cosmetic.SOLUTION: The solid cosmetic is made up of a center body 2a comprising a first composition, and an outer layer body 2b comprising a second composition which covers the entire surface of the center body 2a. The solid cosmetic made up of the center body 2a and the outer layer body 2b covering the entire surface of the center body 2a is produced by: filling the second composition into a mold 4 having a bottomed recess 4a with a top end opening and a central axis extending vertically； rotating the mold 4 about the central axis to allow the second composition to be positioned in the form of a layer along the inner surface of the bottomed recess 4a to thereby form a hollow outer layer portion 2B having a cavity therein； and then filling the first composition into the cavity to form a center portion 2A and solidifying the center portion 2A and an outer layer portion 2B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】固形化粧料を、中心体が露出しておらず使用しているうちに中心体と外層体とからなる化粧料であることを知り意外性をユーザに与えることができるものとする、および、そのような固形化粧料を簡単に製造する。 【解決手段】固形化粧料を、第１の組成物からなる中心体２ａと、中心体２ａの全表面を覆う第２の組成物からなる外層体２ｂとで構成する。上下方向に延びる中心軸を有する上端開口の有底凹部４ａを有する成形型４に第２の組成物を充填し、成形型４を中心軸周りに回転させて前記第２の組成物を有底凹部４ａの内面に沿って層状に位置させて内側に空洞を有する外層部２Ｂを形成し、次いで前記空洞に第１の組成物を充填して中心部２Ａを形成し、中心部２Ａと外層部２Ｂを固化させて中心体２ａと中心体２ａの全表面を覆う外層体２ｂとからなる固形化粧料を製造する。【選択図】図７
