PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic apparatus capable of arbitrarily changing a color tone of illumination light according to an observation target and a diagnostic scene.SOLUTION: An endoscopic apparatus 100 comprises illumination means for emitting illumination light from an endoscope distal end 35, and image pickup means which has an image pickup device 21 for capturing an image of an observation target area of a subject irradiated with the illumination light. The illumination means includes a plurality of types of light sources 45 and 47 with different light-emitting wavelengths, and color tone control means 49 that changes a ratio of respective quantities of outgoing light of the plurality of types of light sources 45 and 47 to change the color tone of the illumination light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
