It is intended to provide a hair increasing dye, wherein a powdery carrier comprising talc or the like is used only in a reduced amount or omitted so that the appearance of hair volume can be effectively enhanced and the run-off of the dye caused by moisture such as sweat or rain can be effectively prevented while stably coloring the hair at a definite hair dye concentration, and an aerosol type hair dye using the same. Namely, a hair increasing dye containing a colorant, a sticking agent and a solvent and an aerosol type hair dye using the same wherein the colorant is carbon particles.
