An apparatus for use in docking sheep, comprising: a cradle (21) and a weighing section. The cradle comprising a surface for receipt of a sheep on it&rsquos back, thereon. The weighing section comprising a first frame and a second frame that support a surface for receipt of the sheep thereon. The surface of the weighing section is generally aligned with the surface of the cradle. The weighing section comprises at least one load cell that operatively connects the first frame and the second frame to provide an output indicative of the weight of a sheep on the surface of the weighing section. The cradle is pivotally mounted relative to the weighing station, so as to be pivotable between a docking position and an unloading position. Wherein the unloading position is angled down towards the ground, relative to the docking position.
