The present invention relates to a method for preparing a water ice molded confection product having a shell and core form. The method of the present invention: facilitates preparation of a water ice molded confection product having different cross-sectional shapes of product and core using two shaping molds facilitates preparation of the water ice molded confection product having various cross-sectional shapes of cores and is able to arouse curiosity and interest of consumers by being differentiated from conventional water ice molded confection products. In addition, the preparation method of the present invention does not include a suction process for forming the core, and thus not requires a suction apparatus and a tank for recovering the absorbed water ice, thereby being able to reduce costs and endeavor for recycling the recovered water ice.
