The invention provides a powder-dispensing system (1 ) comprising a storage container (2) with a wall (3) and a collecting bin (7) in which an auger conveyor (9, 10) is situated. In order to prevent bridge formation, the system comprises a vibrating means (13, 14, 15, 16) directly inside the powder. As a result thereof, the vibrations are transmitted efficiently to the powder, so that this continues to flow well and suffers less from the formation of bridges across the dispensing opening (6), without passing vibrations on to the auger conveyor, which would result in the powder being compacted and the auger becoming stuck. The invention also provides an automatic animal feed system comprising such a powder-dispensing system and an autonomously displaceable animal feed bin (30).
