PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lipid metabolism improving agents containing 4-substituted benzoic acid derivative (I).SOLUTION: A lipid metabolism improving agent is a solid dispersion consisting of 4-substituted benzoic acid derivative (I) and a water-soluble polymer substance.EFFECT: The lipid metabolism improving agent inhibits the expression of NPC1 L1 which is involved in absorption of cholesterol and the like in small intestine, and inhibits cholesterol circulation from small intestine to liver.
