PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical operation microscopic system enabling an assistant to freely observe a binocular assistant microscope, irrespective of the movement of a surgical operation microscope.SOLUTION: A branch optical path B branched and taken out from the surgical operation microscope 4 is imaged with a camera 18, and an electronic video image picked up with the camera 18 is displayed on a display panel 26 of the binocular assistant microscope 5 supported differently from the surgical operation microscope 4 so that the video image can be observed. With this configuration, even if a doctor D1 moves the surgical operation microscope 4, the binocular assistant microscope 5 never moves.
