PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost estrus detector capable of accurately detecting the estrus of a cow from a lying down and standing behavioral pattern without performing troublesome operations by a person in a farmhouse.SOLUTION: This estrus detector is provided by including an inexpensive temperature sensor 1 installed at a cow bed 101 and a controller 2 connected with the temperature sensor 1, detecting the lying down and standing behavioral pattern based on the cow bed temperature detected by a predetermined interval with the temperature sensor 1 for a predetermined period of time in the controller 2, deciding the presence or absence of estrus of a cow based on the detected lying down and standing behavioral pattern and thereby eliminating the requirement of attaching any sensor to the body of the cow so as to be able to accurately detect the estrus of the cow based on the more natural lying down and standing behavioral pattern, and also only by bringing the cow detected as estrus to a stall burn 100, no other excessive labor is made to be required.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】農家が面倒な作業を行うことなく、横臥・起立行動パターンから牛の発情を正確に検出可能な低コストの発情検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】牛床101に設置した安価な温度センサ1と、温度センサ1に接続されたコントローラ2とを備え、コントローラ2において、所定期間中に温度センサ1により所定インターバル毎に検出される牛床温度に基づいて牛の横臥・起立行動パターンを検出し、検出した横臥・起立行動パターンに基づいて牛の発情の有無を判定することにより、何らかのセンサを牛の体に取り付ける必要をなくし、より自然な横臥・起立行動パターンに基づき牛の発情を正確に検出することができるようにするとともに、発情を検出したい牛を繋ぎ飼い牛房100に連れてくるだけで余計な作業は行わなくても済むようにする。【選択図】 図1
