PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize the performance of a radioactivity measurement device and enable quick verification of the capability of measurement of a radiation dose in the state of securing the normal accuracy of the radioactivity measurement device.SOLUTION: A simulation food radiation source of a container-accommodating form is used, and a radiation dose from the simulation food radiation source is measured, and obtained, by a radiation measurement instrument before measuring a radiation dose of a food using the radiation measurement instrument. The simulation food radiation source is constituted by an incorporated structure member produced by mixing an organic or inorganic material with a plant or/and soil containing radioactive substances (including natural radioactive substances) resulting from fallout of radioactive substances caused by the nuclear plant accident, or constituted by a material formed by mixing the incorporated structure member with a hardening agent.
