The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing a turmeric (Curcuma longa) extract and camellia (Camellia japonica) leaf extract. More specifically, the cosmetic composition contains the turmeric extract and camellia leaf extract in a weight ratio of 10:3 to 10:10. Even though the high cohesion and viscosity of the turmeric extract makes the turmeric extract hard to be formulated as a cosmetic composition, the present invention mixes the turmeric extract with the camellia leaf extract to address the difficulty, thereby providing the cosmetic composition with excellent anti-oxidizing and anti-microbial capabilities.본 발명은 울금 및 동백 잎 추출물을 함유하는 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로 울금 및 동백 잎 추출물이 10 : 3 내지 10의 중량비 범위로 배합되는 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이며, 울금 추출물의 경우 응집력 및 점성이 강하여 화장품으로의 제형화가 어려우나, 여기에 동백 잎 추출물을 혼합함으로써 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있고, 항산화성 및 항균성이 우수한 화장료 조성물을 제공할 수 있다.
