PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of preventing reduction in an acoustic property of an acoustic lens.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe comprises: a vibrator array 20 an acoustic lens 28 which is arranged on an ultrasonic wave transmission/reception surface side of the vibrator array 20 one or more matching layers which are interposed between the acoustic lens 28 and the vibrator array 20 and a cylindrical frame body 30 which surrounds the periphery of the vibrator array 20, both ends of which are opened, and which is installed in the acoustic lens 28.
