To detect a residual quantity of perfume components only by driving a device.SOLUTION: An aroma diffuser includes: a blow path for communicating an opening of an aromatic container for storing perfume components with outdoor air； a volatilization mechanism for emitting the perfume components into the blow path； a control part for controlling the operation of the volatilization mechanism； and a sound collecting part for collecting sound generated in the blow path. The empty detection or the residual quantity detection of the aromatic container is performed on the basis of sound information obtained from the sound collecting part. It is preferable that the plurality of aromatic containers, and the plurality of volatilization mechanisms corresponding to the plurality of aromatic containers are provided.
