PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifungal artificial soil particle which is obtained by considering the relationship between an artificial soil particle and an antifungal agent used in it to allow the antifungal agent to effectively exert antifungal activity.SOLUTION: An antifungal artificial soil particle 50 (51, 52, 53) has a fiber lump-like body 11 into which a plurality of fibers 1 are aggregated and contains at least one fungus inhibitor 6 selected from the group consisting of a fungal DNA synthesis inhibitor and a fungal chitin synthesis inhibitor as an active ingredient.
