PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article formable in a curved shape so as to be fitted for a wearers groin.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes an outer sheet 2 which has a longitudinal direction (y) and a width direction (x), an absorber 13 which is provided on the skin surface side of the outer sheet 2, and side sheets 8 which are provided on both the skin surface sides of the outer sheet 2 in the width direction (x). The outer sheet 2 has pleated portions 3 in which mountain folds 4 and valley folds 5 are formed by being folded in the longitudinal direction (y) both ends of the pleated portions 3 in the width direction (x) are fixed the side sheet 8 has a width-direction (x) inside portion provided with an elastic member 9 which is elongated in the longitudinal direction (y) and the absorber 13 is fixed to a fixing portion 7 which is formed in a portion except the pleated portions 3 of the outer sheet 2.
