PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate work for wearing an absorptive article after being opened and to make the absorptive article be easily fitted by attaining rapid and easy opening and a compact and individually wrapped shape state.
SOLUTION: A sanitary napkin 1 is folded into four by folding both longitudinal ends respectively onto the surface of a front surface sheet 3 and also folding both ends inward at the substantially center in the longitudinal direction. A wrapping sheet 10 is arranged by extension outward from one end of the sanitary napkin 1 in the longitudinal direction so as to enclose the sanitary napkin 1 in the longitudinal direction in a state where both end folding parts 1A, 1B of the sanitary napkin 1 are folded and to be folded into four together with the sanitary napkin 1. Then, both opened side edges of the wrapping sheet 10 are sealed, and also the end of the outward extension part is releasably joined to the outer surface of the wrapping sheet 10 as the opened end, so that the individually wrapped state is obtained. In use, the opened end is picked up and pulled in a development direction, thereby developing the folding of the wrapping sheet 10 and the sanitary napkin 1.
