The fodder is fed respectively into first (1) and second (2) feed containers from which it is simultaneously fed into a feed channel for the calves to consume. The first feed container comprises a storage container (4) and a driven jack-screw (5) to move fodder outwards via an outflow aperture (6). The silage product can be brought into the storage container via the open upper side of the main container.
