PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent detergent composition exhibiting excellent transparency and conditioning properties.SOLUTION: The transparent detergent composition includes an anionic surfactant, a cationized water-soluble polymer, a polyglyceryl dicarboxylate and l-menthol. Preferably, polyglyceryl (eicosanedioate-tetradecanedioate) is incorporated as the polyglyceryl dicarboxylate.
