PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent liquid composition for an oral cavity which can exhibit an excellent prevention effect on dental plaque formation by further enhancing an adsorption effect of cetylpyridinium chloride, which has excellent antimicrobial activity against oral bacteria, to tooth surface.SOLUTION: The transparent liquid composition for an oral cavity according to the invention is characterized by containing each specified amount of component (a): cetylpyridinium chloride, component (b): polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil in which an average addition mole number of ethylene oxide is 10 or more and 30 or less, component (c): menthol, and component (d): water system solvent.
