PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer that sufficiently and surely hold a part of the body of a subject.SOLUTION: The retainer includes: a holding device 16 which has a curved surface 16a formed in accordance with the shape of a body surface in a part of the body of a subject 8 and which has on the side of the curved surface 16a an adhesive layer 20 having adhesiveness for the skin surface of the subject 8； a long arm member 18 to which the holding device 16 is attached at one end； and a fixture 14 which is attached to the opposite end from the end with the holding device 16 attached in the arm member 18 and which is for fixing the arm member 18 to a bed 12. As a result, for example in a treatment for a part that is easily deformed like the breast 8b, by sticking the holding device 16 to the part with the adhesive layer 20, the part can be sufficiently and surely held.
