PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roasting device in which heat is uniformly transmitted in whole beans, and sharp expansion of the beans is suppressed, and thereby the beans of good quality can be roasted.SOLUTION: A roasting device includes: a roaster 3 for roasting beans a hot-air oven 1 for sending hot air off to the roaster 3 a feeding path 2 for forming a flow path to feed the hot air from the hot-air oven 1 to the roaster 3 a circulation path 7 for returning the hot air passing the roaster 3 to the hot-air oven 1 a discharging path 5 for discharging the hot air passing the roaster 3 and a branched path 8 branched off from the feeding path 2. The roasting device also includes humidification means 4 provided in the feeding path 2 and control means for controlling this humidification means 4.
