In one or more embodiments of the at least one imaging apparatus, the at least one lighting system, control methods therefor and storage mediums, an identification unit configured to identify a timing in an extinction period of a first illumination light at or during which an operator who performs a work on an object does not recognize an extinction of the first illumination light, and an image pickup unit configured to perform imaging of the object at the timing in the extinction period identified by the identification unit to pick up the object image, are provided.
