PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain small size and light weight of a hedge trimmer.SOLUTION: In a hedge trimmer, a driving system transmitting rotational power of an engine to a blade 2 is constituted of a centrifugation clutch 27 connected to a crank shaft 23 rotated by driving an engine, and cams 30a and 30b which are directly driven from the outside of the centrifugation clutch 27 and cause the blade 2 to reciprocate by changing rotational movement of the centrifugation clutch 27 to reciprocative movement.
