PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing in which the design flexibility is improved and the concentricity of bearing to a drive barrel is reliably obtained to thereby reduce the sliding resistance of a spool shaft.SOLUTION: A spinning reel 1 for fishing according to the present invention includes a drive barrel 10 supported to a reel body 2 rotatably, a longitudinally moving spool shaft 8, a cylindrical alignment holder 30 mounted to the front end 10a of the drive barrel 10, and a bearing 31 fitted in an inner circumferential surface 34a of an alignment holder 30 and slidably supporting the spool shaft 8 in the longitudinal direction.
