PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal material evaluation device and a metal material evaluation method in which measuring accuracy can be easily secured and the degree of life time consumption or the amount of deformation of metal material is evaluated even in the intermediate period in the service life. ! SOLUTION: The metal material evaluation device comprises: a storage unit storing correlation data between the degree of life time consumption or the amount of deformation of first metal material and the amount of specific crystal grain boundaries of the first metal material; and an estimation unit estimating the degree of life time consumption or the amount of deformation of second metal material homogeneous to the first metal material on the basis of the measurement result of the amount of specific crystal grain boundaries of the second metal material and the correlation data. !
