PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling environment in a greenhouse so designed as to control environment in a greenhouse for facility gardening (hereinafter referred to as a greenhouse) for plant cultivation: and to provide a method for controlling the environment in greenhouse. SOLUTION: The device has the following structure: a setting means, a measuring means and a control means each set in and around the greenhouse each has a computer built-in; the computers are connected to one another via information communication network so as to autonomously carry out measurement and control. In the device, dispersive functions of the respective computers built in the respective means without setting another independent control device so as to form an environment controlling device collectively to control the environment in a compound manner.
