PURPOSE: Wood pellet type culture soil, and a producing method thereof are provided to offer abundant amount of minerals and excellent water-retaining capacity to the culture soil.CONSTITUTION: A producing method of wood pellet type culture soil comprises the following steps: crushing wood to obtain sawdust(10S) drying the crushed sawdust(20S) mixing the sawdust with a mineral agent extracted from a medium containing inorganic metal salt using the microbial population before or after drying the sawdust(100S) and compressing the sawdust mixture, and cutting the sawdust into pellets(30S).
