PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant transfer device for a vehicle, the transfer board of which can be compactly stored.SOLUTION: A transfer board 33 can be moved rotationally between the used position in which the transfer board is pivotally supported by a slide bracket 31 through a hinge 32 and substantially horizontally projects outward in the vehicle width direction and the stored position in which the transfer board stands substantially vertically. The transfer board is moved rotationally from the used position to the stored position in the state that the slide bracket 31 is on the upper end of a slide rail 28, and then the slide bracket 31 is moved down along the slide rail 28 to be stored between the slide rail 28 and a seat 11. Therefore, the height of the upper end of the transfer board 33 in the stored position becomes lower by the downward stroke of the slide bracket 31, which makes it possible to compactly store the transfer board. This does not allow the hip part and elbow of an occupant sitting in the seat 11 to easily touch the transfer board 33, and prevents the occupant from having an oppressing feeling or from sitting in the seat feeling uncomfortable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
