PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary absorption article of a leg opening wearing type, excellent in leak prevention performance.SOLUTION: A cylindrical auxiliary absorption article 10 is connected in a circumferential direction when being used or is beforehand connected in the circumferential direction. On an end 11 on one opening side, a diaper connection part 13 is arranged, the diaper connection part to be connected detachably to the circumference of a leg opening 101 in a disposable diaper 100. On an end 12 on the other opening side, an opening elastic stretch member 14 is arranged, the opening elastic stretch member causing the end 12 on the other opening side to be fitted on a thigh of a wearer. At least between an area including the diaper connection part 13 and an area including the opening elastic stretch member 14, an absorption area 15 is arranged, the absorption area performing absorption from an inner peripheral face.
