PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound diagnostic device which improves the image quality of a region of interest and conserves electric power without limiting the size of the region of interest.SOLUTION: Even if a driving signal is supplied to each of transducers configuring an oscillator array at time t1, a received signal processor remains OFF and does not turn ON. The received signal processor is only turned ON after reception of ultrasound echoes from a region of interest starts at time t4, in accordance with the measurement depth of the region of interest, and until reception of the ultrasound echo signal from the region of interest is completed at time t5.
