CONSTITUTION: An antiviral composition contains Aruncus dioicus var. kamtschaticus Hara extract or a fraction thereof. An antioxidative composition contains extract or fraction thereof. An antibacterial composition contains the extract or fraction thereof. The ethanol extract is prepared by: adding 2400-3000 weight parts of 70-90% ethanol to 160-240 weight parts of dried Aruncus dioicus var. kamtschaticus Hara, decompressing and concentrating the extract at 30-50°；C.
