PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an antiviral agent, in which a type or concentration of an agent bringing disinfection effect to a virus (pathogenic virus in particular) that exists on an object to be inspected in an environment, and a method for using the agent are set for a target virus and an environment in which the virus exists.SOLUTION: The inventor found out that a system that concentrates viruses by a method for concentrating and recovering viruses at high-rate and stably and detecting the viruses by using a gene amplification method such as (RT)-PCR can be used for development or selection of a type or concentration of disinfectant adapted for a target virus and an environment in which the virus exists, a method for using the disinfectant, and evaluation after disinfection. Furthermore, the inventor found out in this evaluation system that chlorine-based disinfectant or alkali metal silicate was effective, and using both agents in combination was useful.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】環境中の検査対象物に存在するウイルス(特に病原性ウイルス)に消毒効果をもたらす薬剤の種類や濃度、その使用法を、標的ウイルスとそれが存在する環境に合わせて設定する方法及び抗ウイルス剤の提供。【解決手段】ウイルスを高率かつ安定的に濃縮して回収する方法でウイルスを濃縮し、(RT)-PCRなどの遺伝子増幅法を用いて検出する系が、標的ウイルスとそれが存在する環境に適した消毒剤の種類や濃度、その使用方法の開発や選択、消毒後の評価に使用できることを見出した。さらに、本評価系で、塩素系の消毒剤やアルカリ金属ケイ酸塩に効果があることや両薬剤の併用が有用であることを見出した。【選択図】図1
