To provide a microneedle array with which a skin surface layer and/or a skin keratinous layer can be easily and uniformly punctured without being broken and in which the microneedles dissolve in the skin surface layer and/or skin keratinous layer.
SOLUTION: The microneedle array constituted by forming a plurality of thin microneedles ON the surface of a substrate is characterized in that the microneedles have conical shapes formed of a raw materials containing 60 wt.% or more of hyaluronic acid and the root diameter of the same is 0.15 to 0.3 mm, the distal end diameter of the same is 0.02 to 0.08 mm, the height of the same is 0.3 to 1.2 mm, and the pitch between the microneedles is 0.4 to 1.0 mm.
