Disclosed is a packaged absorbent article (1) in which, when a protective sheet (60) is disposed on a non-skin side surface (20a) of the absorbent article, the protective sheet (60) is folded back as far as a position in which part of the protective sheet (60) overlies the part of the protective sheet (60) which is in contact with the non-skin side surface (20a) of the absorbent article. In the folded state, an end part (60a) of the protective sheet (60) is adhered to the protective sheet (60) by means of an adhesive material (70). In the folded state, two side edges (60b, 60c) in the lengthwise direction of the protective sheet (60) are joined by heat sealing. A second adhesive region (71) where the adhesive material (70) is disposed is formed in a prescribed position on the protective sheet (60) facing the non-skin side surface (20a) of a rear sheet (20). The second adhesive region (71) is formed in a position corresponding to a non-adhesive region (52).
