PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of predicting a gas barrier property of a packaging material after producing a food product sterilized by boil-retort treatment, the food product using a laminate film composed of a gas barrier film as the packaging material, and to provide a method of producing the food product sterilized by the boil-retort treatment, the gas barrier property of the packaging material after the production of the food product being not deteriorated.SOLUTION: A content is charged while employing, as a packaging material, a gas barrier property film on which a test pattern is printed on an entire front surface, and sealing is performed, and thereafter change in dimension of the printed test pattern after heat treatment is measured to thereby predict a gas barrier property of the packaging material after the heat treatment. A food product sterilized by boil-retort treatment is produced under a condition that the test shows that an increased amount in dimension of the test pattern after the heat treatment is 0.6% or lower of the original dimension.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】ガスバリア性フィルムからなる積層フィルムを包装材料として用いたボイル・レトルト殺菌された食品を製造した後の包装材料のガスバリア性を予測する方法、ガスバリア性の悪化のないボイル・レトルト殺菌された食品を製造する方法を提供する。【解決手段】表面全面にテストパターンを印刷したガスバリア性フィルムを包装材料として用い、内容物充填、シール後、加熱処理後の印刷テストパターンの寸法の変化を測定することにより、加熱処理後の包装材料のガスバリア性を予測する。本検査により加熱処理後にテストパターンの寸法増加が原寸法の0.6%以下である条件でボイル・レトルト殺菌された食品を製造する。【選択図】 なし
